Sea Odyssey

Live in Taplin Auditorium, Princeton (click here to listen)

“Sea Odyssey” is comprised of four poems written by Colleen Plimier. This work, scored for spoken voice, sung voice, waterphone, koto and computer soundtrack, explores what it means to travel and come to determine ones own path. Inspired by the text, Sea Odyssey describes the relationship between an individual and the idea of fate, the balance of power between our destiny and any one of us. (for ease of downloading I have divided the piece into four sections but it is best if it is listened to as a continuous work.)
